I reached out to The Fitness Doc after feeling like I wasn’t living life/performing at my best. I had gotten my bloodwork checked and was looking for someone more knowledgeable than my GP when it comes to breaking down and understanding my hormone profiles. FAQs

Are you a doctor?

No, I am not a doctor.

For medical advice, always consult with your doctor, and I will not be held liable for any risks, issues or delays that have arisen due to working with me as your holistic health coach. I do not condone the use of any illegal or legal drugs. I do not take responsibility for medical decisions you make or do not make. This is something that you must exclusively discuss with your qualified doctor or medical practitioner.

How often should I book in?

The answer to this is highly individualised, however I am working with most clients on a 2-3 month rolling basis (follow-up consults). For clients who are more self-sufficient, this might be bumped up to 6 months, so we only meet twice a year. The plan will differ between clients and will be discussed early on so that expectations are clear for both parties.

How often should I get bloodwork?

Again, the answer to this is highly individualised. However, in most cases, clients that work with me are getting repeated blood panels between 3-6 months post consult. This gives adequate time to allow your metrics to adjust and gives us more meaningful data to analyse in the follow-up consult. However, this can vary depending on your individual factors, situation, age and protocol history amongst others.

What bloodwork should I test before we meet?

Most clients have their bloodwork ready beforehand, however I also have a recommended list of tests that should be included before we meet. This will be provided to you as part of the initial consultation if you haven't tested already and are unsure of what panel you should get tested.

What if I don't know which package to purchase?

If you know what package to purchase (or you are an existing client), great. You can book in, pay, and schedule a consult whenever you need to by using the 'Purchase Now' option. This will take you to an external calendar management tool that you use to schedule a consultation.

However, if you are unsure of what package is best, you are also welcome to reach out to me first to clarify and ask any questions you have. This can be done via the 'Book Now' option. I aim to respond to most enquiries within 24 hours, however during peak periods (February - September) this may be up to 48 hours.

Please Note: in fairness to my clients, I cannot respond in depth to questions outside general booking/scheduling matters.

What if I have an emergency?

If you have a medical emergency, you must go to hospital or call emergency services.

If you need a short notice appointment with me, I have a limited number of 'urgent' slots dedicated throughout the week on a rolling and first come, first served basis. These can be scheduled via the 'Book Now' option on my website, and do not require immediate payment.

Please Note: these slots are extremely limited, and should only be used for pre-existing clients who have an urgent matter they would like to discuss with me.
